While the situation may change at short notice we are working with residents, families and staff to ensure we continue to provide exceptional compassion, comfort and care to all at Ananda.
Visiting hours are strictly 10am – 12pm and 3 – 6pm each day. UPDATE: From Friday 20th March this was amended to ONLY 4-6 pm for 30 minutes and ONE visitor.
No visitors will be permitted outside those times except in unusual circumstances. Visitors must report and stay in reception until signed in, temperature checked and washed their hands in the bathrooms available. Visitors ho have traveled interstate or overseas may not visit. We currently allow 2 visitors at a time though are likely to restrict to only one shortly. UPDATE: From Friday 20th March only ONE visitor per day is allowed for a maximum period of 30 minutes.
This procedure allows us to minimise risk while still maintaining social interaction (with social distance) for our residents which is important for them and families.
You may be required to wait to be attended, please be patient as resident safety is our priority above all else.
We request calls to our switchboards are minimised during this period and please do not call during visiting hours as our nurses will be busy with on site families. Call between 9-10am and 1-4pm only for routine information or updates. Our nursing staff will proactively call you if any changes to residents or any issues you need to know. Please allow our staff to focus on resident care during a time where they need to concentrate and ensure quality at all times.
